When optometrist Craig Scheffel decided to move his busy high-volume practice out of the Lakewood, CA mall into a large 5,000 SF office nearby, his goals for the office design were simple: make it "beachy casual" and budget-friendly. A separate welcome desk right at the front door allows the bi-lingual receptionist to guide patients to the right place. The main reception desk controls patient flow into the clinic area and receives payments.
